This reading shows how K.Paul Johnson thought greatly of Edgar Cayce. Johnson mentions how Cayce was a great human being but also claims that he had no psychic abilities. Johnson felt that Cayce brought up some valid questions that just needed to be looked at. He didn't feel that because Cayce presented interesting writings that this would make him in counter visions or state he had psychic powers. Regardless of providing concrete evidence Cayce is still considered the "sleeping prophet" and continues to have many followers.
I feel this is another great example of how people belief anything. They feel that anything that Edgar Cayce has to state in his documents reveals the truth. People don't understand how some humans have certain qualities that flourish more than others. Just because Edgar has the ability to engage people in his written articles but that does not mean he is able to tell you the future.
