John Maynard Smith and Evolution

In this interview John Maynard gives his theory on evolution. He says that a common dependent selection will do well in life while a rare one will die. Then he gives a great example when he states that if you had ten women for one men you would reproduce a boy. Then if you had ten men for one women you would then get a girl. Then I wondered well what keeps this balanced. Well Maynard went on to say that the game theory. He tells us how this theory is able to maintain a stable state. Then I learn that a game theory is the mathematical notion of something. I thought this was all but he went on to talk about natural selection which the reporter gave a great explanation which he said that it's the process decision even if it doesn't design consciously.
